Dress to celebrate! Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so think elevated garden party meets seaside soirée. We’d love for our guests to wear colorful, festive outfits that reflect the joy of the day, flowy dresses, fun prints, linen suits, and anything that feels cheerful and comfortable. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing black and instead lean into the playful, romantic setting. Whatever you choose, make sure it’s something you can dance in!

May in Jekyll Island is pretty dreamy warm days, breezy evenings, and plenty of sunshine. You can expect temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s during the day, with cooler temps once the sun sets. We recommend bringing a light layer just in case the ocean breeze picks up at night. Fingers crossed for clear skies, but we’ll be prepared for anything Mother Nature has in mind!

We’re planning for all the festivities ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to take place outdoors so we can soak up the coastal views and ocean air. That said, we’re keeping an eye on the weather and have an indoor backup plan just in case. Rain or shine, it’s going to be a beautiful celebration!
